EAP 8769 Release Notes

New Refactorings

The following refactorings (originally from Refactor-J) are now included in IntelliJ IDEA:

  • Extract Class
  • Remove Middleman
  • Inline Superclass (invoked by selecting "Inline" on the name of class after "extends" keyword

UML Support

Basic class diagram support is included (select "Show Uml Class Diagram" in the context menu).

FreeMarker support

  • A possibility to make all members of some class top-level FreeMarker properties and methods
  • Struts2 default variables support
  • 'Show implementations' action on macro and function navigates to all same-named macros or functions
  • Configurable absolute paths in #include and #import references
