Omea Pro returns to intended price

Has it been a month already? Time sure moves quickly in this industry!

We’ve got some small news and some big news for you all today:

Let’s start with the small news first.

On Saturday June 4th Omea returned to its intended price of $99 USD. Now everyone who bought it at 49 bucks can brag to their friends and remind everyone about their incredible shopping techniques. For those of you who delayed your purchase, Omea is still a steal at $99 USD, especially considering that (* big news right here *) Tokaj is on the way!

We’ll be releasing Tokaj in the next few weeks, with all its glorious performance improvements, further integration with IE and Firefox, and advanced functionality… and we’ve tentatively named it: Omea 1.5 ( we’re so creative)

If you’re one of those “Early Adopters” and you just need to get your hands on this technology before it’s released to the general public, then grab a copy of our Omea Pro or Omea Reader EAP versions right here:

Have a great day,

Since its introduction, we have received buckets of compliments, congratulations, and constructive criticisms, and we have spent some long, long nights implementing the best of them. So this is our official announcement: Omea 1.5 is nearing release, but before that, our introductory price of $49 USD will be coming to an end on June 4th, 2005. Everyone who purchases Omea Pro 1.x before June 4th will receive a free upgrade to 1.5, so this is your last chance to get Omea Pro and the upgrade, before it returns to $99 USD.

Omea Pro Wins Jolt Productivity Award

We won!

At the 15th Annual Jolt Product Excellence and Productivity Awards, JetBrains' Omea Pro 1.0 received the honour of being picked from a strong class of competitors, to receive one of three Productivity Awards in the Utilities Category.

At the SD West Conference & Exposition in California's Silicon Valley, the editors of Software Development magazine announced the winners. Rosalyn Lum, Software Development magazine's technical editor declared that, "This has been an exciting and challenging year of Jolt judging. Every year, the competition gets tougher. Not only did we rename several categories and add a new category in midstream, we had an unprecedented number of nominations."

We here at JetBrains would like to congratulate the Macromedia team, for their work on Captivate 2004, the Jolt Award Winner in the Utilities Category.
