Installing TeamCity plugin for Eclipse
Installation
To install TeamCity plugin for Eclipse:
- In My Settings and Tools page, locate section TeamCity Add-ons.
- Under Eclipse plugin header, copy update site link URL. For example, in Internet Explorer you can right-click the and choose Copy shortcut on the context menu.
- In Eclipse, choose Help | Software Updates | Find and Install on the main menu.
- Use the URL as Eclipse update site. You may refer to the Eclipse plugin installation procedure for Subclipse plugin at http://subclipse.tigris.org/install.html
 | Prerequisites
- Subclipse 1.2.x plugin. Current Eclipse plugin version supports Remote Run and Delayed Commit only for Subversion VCS. You need Subclipse 1.2.x installed in Eclipse. (update site for Subclipse 1.2)
- JDK 1.5. Eclipse must be run under JDK 1.5 for the TeamCity plugin to work.

Make sure you have Subclipse plugin installed before installing TeamCity plugin. Otherwise, on installing Subclipse after TeamCity plugin, you may experience "Unable to create view: org/tigris/subversion/subclipse/core/IResourceStateChangeListener" error.
Restart Eclipse with "-clean" command-line option to avoid the error. |
