For some reason our cvs server is behaving strangely today. Attempting to do a "compare to same repository version" on a source file caused IDEA to lock up for about thirty seconds and then present me with my cvs settings. Clicking "OK" caused it to lock up for another thirty seconds attempting to do the same thing it had just failed to do (I had thought it would dismiss the dialog and let me going on, saying "your cvs server appears to be on crack"). In part it's our fault for having our server misconfigured (not down or unreachable, but reachable and behaving weirdly), but IDEA could have behaved more helpfully.
