There's an Appearance Settings dialog and Editor Settings, which has an appearance tab. Either Appearance will be split, or all appearance should probably be configured from a single place. This is most obvious when one looks for turning antialiased editor font on/off, as it is not in the Editor Appearance tab, but in the general appearance settings. Very confusing.
