Applying a dependency to multiple modules efficiently

Created: 18 Sep 07 22:54   Updated: 25 Sep 07 19:39
Component/s: Project Configuration

Build: 7,274
Severity: Medium

 Description  « Hide
Applying a dependency (a module or library) already existing in the project to multiple modules is a painful process as it involves going into each of the modules in turn and adding the dependency. Allowing the user to quickly apply the dependency to multiple modules (similar to the screen that pops up when the module's first added) would be a great productivity booster. Another interesting feature would be to allow the dependency to be added to all modules under a group..

Yes please! I'm working on a project (Apache Axis2) with many modules, and am about to go write a perl script to add a global library to all of them... this functionality would be great.
