Importing settings into eval linux version of 7.0.1 causes license to expire

Created: 01 Nov 07 13:32   Updated: 19 May 08 22:43
Component/s: IDE Configuration

Environment: WinXP SP2 and Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon), JDK 1.5.0_11 on windows, _13 on Ubuntu

Build: 7,364

 Description  « Hide
I have been evaluating 7.0.1 on windows. Yesterday I installed it on Ubuntu to evaluate it under linux also. It was working fine. I then exported my settings from IDEA under windows and imported them into the linux version (using export/import settings). Now when I load a project on linux it says my eval license has expired. My windows version is still running under its license.

I assume this is due to the import of settings since it made me restart and that was when the problem started. IDEA for linux was downloaded yesterday so the eval should run for 30 days.

I tried removing the config/eval directory and the .key file but still get the same error.

How do I get back my 30 days without reinstalling?

Workaround: do not import "Code style schemes, File templates, Code templates" group. Works for me.
