The problem is two-fold:

• the gutter gets totally cluttered with warnings and todos and it's hard to see where the diffs are at a glance
• the code has different colors between the left diff-pane and the right diff-pane because the right diff-pane has all the inspections running, and it makes it really hard to concentrate on the diffs that are being evaluated because even code that hasn't changed looks different.

It would be very convenient not to have inspections in the right diff-pane, or at least to have an option to turn them off from the diff window.
