Check out a number of files. 1) Check in one file with a comment using IDEA check in window 2) Check in another file with no comment (delete previous comment that has been automatically inserted in comment textarea) 3) Check in one more file and see that comment textarea is empty on check in 4) Restart IDEA 5) Check in a file and see, that comment field has a comment automatically inserted, and this is the comment that was entered in 1) That can be very distracting if you paid no attention to this and checked in a file with a comment it doesn't belong to.
