The quickest way to create a new class in the same package as the current one is to press alt-pos1, alt-insert However I often end up with alt-insert invoking the "generate code" popup menu instead of acting - see screenshot. Also happens for alt-f1, 1, alt-insert. Please make sure that the alt-pos1 (or alt-f1-1) action has been processed before processing any other keystrokes.
