There's a very strange issue with tooltips having a variable height which depends on their visible row (or vertical position of the mouse within the JScrollPane). I could describe it, but screen shots will be better. Note in the attached screenshots: there is no mouse cursor. The mouse cursor was of course at the same height as the top of the popup.
