It's probably one of the biggest reasons why many of my colleagues choose eclipse; if a tool doesn't have dual monitor support...most of them won't even consider touching it. I know other guy's from different banks who have bought licenses, and they like me keep Eclipse open concurrently pointed to the same project / src! which is alright...til you start your app server. Intellij is all about making us more productive, right?

Dual head display card costs around US$50 and a 2x" LCD monitor is less than $200. You could expect more and more development team will use dual monitor.
