I'm looking at a line of code that has a purple background I've never seen before. So I go to the Colors panel and scroll through all the possibilities to find what it means.

It would be very handy if there were an Edit Colors... menu item in the editor's contextual menu that would bring up a dialog showing all the color settings relevant to the cursor location. Click on one, and it takes you to the Colors and Fonts panel, with that element selected.

Or instead of a dialog, maybe it should be a submenu.

This feature would also make it a whole lot easier to adjust colors.

BTW, the purple seems to be because the code was moved or modified as the result of an intention action. I can't see where to change that color. (I see that it goes away after I type ESC.)

The purple is the default "Search Result" color. It can be configured in the General tab of Colors & Fonts.
