 Description  « Hide
Currently in CVS update dialog, IDEA does not remember "Remove sticky tag" selection. In release 4.5.x IDEA remembered this setting, but it seems like this behaviour has been changed due to issue #IDEADEV-1443?
I would prefer to create a general IDE setting which lets me decide if IDEA remembers these kind of settings. I always let the setting checked, because I like to always set the desired tag when updating files from the CVS. By creating a general IDE setting I suppose everyone will be able to keep the current workflow?

as in http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEA-4646 stated, there would be some redesign of the commit dialog helpful. I'd prefer to replace the checkboxes by comboboxes with choices like
  • on ("checked")
  • off ("unchecked")
and additionally one of (to override the IDEA global default):
  • always on ("checked and remember the setting")
  • always off ("unchecked and remember the setting")

these settings could be remembered and everyone could set the best one for his workflow?!
