The changes view performs reallly slowly....

Our project includes many modules but since our team only commit to one, we would like to see the changes view only pointing to one module. It seems to want to check changes across all our modules.

The reason we have other modules (instead of pointing to a jar and linking the source) is because we need to be able to see the code as well as cvs changes (view history basically) which we can't do otherwise.

If the changes view can't be limited, can we see a limited cvs functionality on source that is linked to through a jar? (the source has all the cvs directories, info, etc.)

Could you please attach a CPU snapshot of updating the Changes view? We do not plan to introduce any such limits, but we will do our best to improve the performance of changes view updates.

We've turned off the changes view. I'll see what I can do.

I don't know if it is an intelliJ problem, I think it is more of a cvs problem because it takes forever! Our repositories are huge with many many gigabytes of data in them (I know that's not the best place to store binaries, but I didn't put them in there!). Anyway, we are only interested in the changes for one module that we have.
