Has this been fixed? I see something in the 6.0.1 release notes about "Fixed memory leak caused by using File Structure Popup in JSP pages" . Is this the same issue??

Dmitry Jemerov - 12 Oct 06 09:58
Arthur,

No, the memory leak is a different issue.

Jon Steelman - 27 Oct 06 18:48
Although this issue doesn't impact me personally at the moment, I worry about the highly negative impact this bug has had and will continue to have on an untold number of users or prospective users. How many people rejected IDEA during evaluation on their project because editing some JSPs was too slow to even edit? Any chance this will get addressed in 6.0.2?

Arthur Blake - 01 Nov 06 22:56
Can you please apply this fix to the 6.0.2 build as well???

It's still occuring in build 6077 with structure view and it's VERY slow!

Maxim Shafirov - 01 Nov 06 23:14
Well, the 'fix' is there. If that's still slow means only one thing: we haven't fixed that actually. Could you pelase attach a fresh snapshot taken on 6077?

Jon Steelman - 02 Nov 06 00:12
Arthur opened a new issue with a 6077 snapshot:

Jon,
Do you experience same problems or those only happen on Arthur's machine?

Jon Steelman - 02 Nov 06 23:49
Max - I don't generally edit jsp's or js and haven't run into the problem. Art and I don't actually work on the same codebase.
