The diff window contains option "Ignore whitespace". Possibility to select "Ignore case" would be of great help to us. Of couse it is not useful for Java code, but would be nice for all other text files. We use it especially for comparing/version tracking our SQL code that we have in CVS, when someone does too much reformatting. If this was implemented in IDEA (and I think it would not take more than several hours to implement) we could stop buying Beyond Compare and spend these money on upgrading IDEA
