IMHO the main problem is that Idea treats local files as "locally added", even though there is no such status in VSS (see separate issues for that). Right now because I often view test results (csv files and the like) in Idea, then delete the files I have SOME THOUSANDS of files in the special change list "Locally Deleted Files". It seems that there is no way to get rid of those. Can I edit a file somewhere and remove them? (I have the feeling that those entries slow things down).
