When the find operation is done in background, the automatic selection of the first found item is extremely disturbing, especially in conjunction with 'Autoscroll to source'. While the find operation is still running in background, I'm already selecting items from the list and looking at the found source locations. But suddenly my current source file is hidden by something else, because the find operation has finished and the first item is selected automatically. IMHO this automatic selection should only be done if the find operation is run in foreground. (After all the main reason to do something in background is to NOT being disturbed by it, isn't it?)
