When I select multiple Ant targets and choose the Create Meta Target option from the context menu, after I click OK in the dialog, nothing happens. No meta target is created that I can see.

Tested in 6963: it works for me. Anything specific with target names, locations (the same file, different files)?

Gordon Tyler - 22 May 07 18:28
The targets are selected from the same build file. Their names are "clean" and "dist".

I had experienced some weirdness with a previous EAP build where a hex number was appended to the project name when assigning shortcut keys to Ant targets. Could this be related?

I noticed that in the following snippet from my project file, the <executeOn> tag was added when I tried to create the meta target:

<buildFile url="file://$PROJECT_DIR$/../../../build.xml">
<additionalClassPath />
<antReference projectDefault="true" />
<customJdkName value="" />
<maximumHeapSize value="128" />
<properties />
<executeOn event="compositeTask" target="[clean,dist]" presentableName="Full Rebuild" />
</buildFile>

Yes, got it. This happens when presentable name of meta-target is different from its definition ([clean, dist] in your case). Definitely the bug. Thanks.
