This bug occurs at least for Glassfish, Tomcat, Weblogic local configurations.

Get a module with a web facet. Provide some stuff to deploy. Provide deployment configuration with this facet. Make sure it is correct.
Rename facet. Check configuration (you need to select it in dialog to see UI update). See that it is marked with error: "No facets to deploy".
Renaming facet could update configuration.
