there are maven import problems, as discussed in http://intellij.net/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=273981&tstart=15 sample project, where maven import with intellij fails (<Ctrl>+F9 shows compile errors): https://dep-analyzer.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/dep-analyzer/trunk/viewer/ (reproducicble with revision 208) only when using maven idea plugin on command-line (->idea:clean, idea:project, idea:module) regenerated project/module files work fine.
