allow to override default FileTypes, e.g. specialized StructureView, SyntaxHighlighter etc. to allow specialized behaviours for "subtypes", e.g. struts-config.xml files

Please make sure that this also covers stuff provided by the Language, not only the FileType. See IDEA-5955

Is this still planned for Demetra, despite the statements that we're already in "only bug fixes from now on" mode? This would be a very powerful feature, especially combined with DOM-Model (for the basic tasks).

most of the originally requested features are available in Diana, so AFAIC this can be closed
