It would be nice to be able to do CVS updates and CVS commits in the background (adding a "background" button, in addition to "cancel"). Over a slow connection, it is just a pain to have to watch this window and have the whole IDE blocked for several minutes. Makes me want to go back to the command line "cvs up / cvs commit".
