Description

« Hide

The new progress bar is remaining on top of all windows, even when i change to another app.
Ex. when stating idea, the loading project progress bar will be visible if i change to firefox, like a window that has "stay on top" attribute.
I'm running idea on freebsd with jdk1.5 but i think that this is the same on linux too.

It is the same on debian sarge with gnome 2.8.3 Desktop, sould fixed asap, ist a blocker for me!

Any SVN, or "Waiting for VM detachment" , etc, popup window will overlay everything not just IDEA. I too uploaded an attachment.

We are now on build 5231 - it's still broken!!!!! What is going on? Can you not duplicate the bug? Do you need more info?

This problem doesn't happen on Windows XP SP2. I bet it would have already been fixed if this was showing up under Windows. That's a nasty problem if you desktop is unusable everytime you're waiting for IDEA to finish a long operation.

The worst part is it stays on top even when I switch to another desktop (I'm using Fedora 5 w/ Gnome). I'm sticking with IDEA 5 until this is fixed...
