Well, you've made SOME improvement to the Find Usages Dialog.

Now, when change the Grouping the thing doesn't lock up.

BUT, as soon as I attempt to expand on of the tree nodes, it locks up. 100% cpu. Never coems back (been 10 minutes now).

Again.... I'm almost certain this is a GDI / Drawing issue. (Why on earth you're not using a commercial tree view and let someone else deal with this is beyond me... but that's another issue).

Re: #24210- Find Usages Locks Up
Eric,

We ARE using a commercial tree list. Even more, we even use custom patches to resolve a number of its problems. The problem with your issue is that we cannot reproduce it here. I understand you can't really send us your solution, but if you could attach a debugger and instruct it to break on all exceptions that would be great!

Re: #24210- Find Usages Locks Up
Here's something very interesting:

Find Usages locked up again.

So, while it was locked up, I opened a new instance of VSS, and attached the debugger to the other instance of VSS.

As soon as I did that, the first, locked up instance, came back to life, and was no longer locked up.

I have no idea what to make of that, but it must mean something.
