I'd really like to see this fixed, as well. This causes problems with interesting extensions that others are working on like Script#:

Bug: RSRP-36713 has a couple of examples of some of the side effects.

Also, it's worth mentioning that I believe this will also affect developers using Silverlight with VS 2005.

I am considering upgrading our licenses from 2.5 to 3, but this is a show stopper. Please correct this as soon as possible.
