Rationale: for a Windows user, the most logical place for the Options is Tools->Options, and not some aux menus added by 3rd-party plugins. We can't sit there entirely because of their fixed size which is too small for us. However, we should provide a shortcut to our own options from the standard place.
What should be included there:
- A button to open the modal R# Options dialog immediately (without even closing the Devenv Options dialog). The button text should be kept short, some explanatory text should reside in a label next to the button (eg see Outlook options).
- Some text telling that the R# Options could also be opened from another menu.
- Provided that RSRP-34719 is accepted, the same profile picker as on the R# Options main page.
- Possibly, some critial actions like Reset Shortcuts that could just be missing if the menu is gone.
