I found at least 2 things that do not work when the project is under solution folder: 1. "Implement member" context action (on an abstract member) does not work (always says "No places where to implement"). 2. "Convert Method to Property" does not process overriders. (But note that refactorings like Rename and Change Signature work correctly!)
