Basically, have an option to auto "Highlight Usages in File" of whatever is under the cursor, but in grey or yellow (Eclipse 3.1 was yellow, I think - 3.2 changed it to grey), removing the highlights whenever the cursor changes. This wouldn't interfere with explicit requests for Highlight Usages in File.

When Eclipse first added it, I didn't think it'd be that big a deal since that feature was a keystroke away (I think – or is there no option to explicitly highlight in Eclipse?) – but I've gotten hooked and really wish R# would do the same.

I prefer the highlighting on demand, so please, if this feature request is accepted, allow to switch it off

I also would like the feature added to ReSharper. Having worked with it in Eclipse makes me miss this functionality in VS with ReSharper. To hit a key combination to see the highlighting i just a tiny bit cumbersome. Having it displayed all the time (with a turn-off feature) would be just great.
