Created: 27 Nov 07 05:23   Updated: 10 Dec 07 18:23
Component/s: Parsing
Fix Version/s: None

Original Estimate: Unknown Remaining Estimate: Unknown Time Spent: Unknown
Environment: Ubuntu 7.10; Idea 7.0.1

Severity: Extreme

 Description  « Hide
Parsing the ruby gems takes way too long (Around 5 minutes on a Core 2 duo machine).

I also don't really use the syntax search on the rubygems anyways.
All I want to do is have access to the files so I can browse the source.

5 minutes of parsing every time I open a project is not worth it to me.

However its very nice to have all of the gems in the project view, because I regularly browse and search the source of the gem I want to look at.

Only libs directory of each gem is being parsed now.
