Basically, files are not updating correctly on the agent. Deleted was how I first noticed it, but further testing seems to indicate that creating a file fails also.

A couple notes. We are using modules in CVS. This particular module is new and was added after the project was registered. The top level directory exists as do most of the other directories. I have not been able to reproduce this problem in an older module, but that does not mean it can't be. It takes a while to go through the cycle. I will keep trying to emulate in another module.

I will attach some files for this to see if they aid in debugging.

Environment: RHEL4
CVS 1.11.17
MySQL
Sun JDK 1.5

Also, as should be obvious, this is a bad issue for us. I notice you have it listed as a fix for Agra Minor, which is great. If you are able to come up with a workaround for it in the meantime, even better.

Thanks.

A workaround may be rewriting CVS modules so that they do not use ampersand modules, but refer to directories only.

Thanks. Will look at this as an option. Or going back to explicitly listing all the modules in TeamCity (though this made things much, much slower).

Any handle on the underlying problem? Is there likely to be a fix in a 2.1.1 or 2.2?

So will this only be in the 3.0 release? Is there any current workaround (Yegor mentioned a possible workaround)?

Tim,

This particular case should be fixed in 2.1.1 branch.
We should release 2.1.1 in a week term.
